Kings Orchard Marina, now under construction by Pridewater Estates Ltd on six acres of unspoilt land deep in the Staffordshire countryside, will set new standards for quality of construction, landscaping and facilities when it opens 2012.

There will be a number of Gold Service berths at an additional annual fee which are so popular at Grove Lock Marina. These comprise wider pontoons offering more space between boats, allocated parking and a private toilet and shower for the sole and exclusive use of the boat owner's family and friends. This innovation we believe is unique to Pridewater Estates Ltd who own, manage and operate our marinas.

This is the company's third leisure marina entirely designed and built by its own in-house team - each one a little better than the one before as the photographs of our other sites clearly demonstrate. Kings Orchard, named after the foot bridge over the canal on the north boundary of the marina, will be a man made basin accommodating over 80 craft on finger pontoons dotted around the side. The main brick built facilities building will house the very best in showers, toilets and laundry equipment, as well as the marina office and storage, while Elsan disposal and extra fast pumpout equipment will be on the adjacent wharf.

The site will be landscaped and planted with many hundreds of trees and shrubs to provide the perfect spot for relaxing on hot summer days and there will be ample open space for barbecues, picnics and ball games.

Between now and our opening date we will keep all who are interested up to date with our plans and show pictures of the progress we are making both via this website and our regular free email Newsletter.
